Turkey's Uzmar Shipyard has officially joined the Robert Allan Ltd "Century Club" as it begins construction of its 100th tug to be built to a Robert Allan Ltd design. The RAstar 3200 is expected to be delivered to SAAM-SMIT Canada for service on Canada's west coast next year. The design is optimized for generating high indirect escort forces and is also capable of providing towing operations from the stern. In addition, it will be completed with several other notable features such as gas detection, explosion-proof deck equipment, off-ship fire-fighting capability, and one of the first applications of an IMO Tier III emissions compliant propulsion package on a tug.

The Uzmar yard, located in Turkey's Kocaeli free zone, is also building six more RAstar 3200s and a pair of RAmparts 3000 tugs for other operators, while another twenty tugs, each with a bollard pull of from 50–tons to 85-tons, are on order.
